Have you ever felt like your life is running on a bit of a script? Or that you are stuck in a routine that makes life feel like surviving and not living?
If yes, I have the perfect remedy – a bottle of Prosecco in the middle of the week, at sunset (seaside optional but recommended).
If you are like me, you are probably saving all those exciting activities, new places to see, outdoor life and anything else that feels special for weekends. But why does it have to be that way?
Most of us don’t have the luxury of being in complete control of our time. But, as with most things in life, where there is a will, there is a way.
Recently I’ve been so busy with work and other projects which made a rigorous routine my best friend. Routine helps me to cram as much as possible into the 24-hour window and give my monkey brain peace of mind that things are moving forward.
While that’s great, we can’t forget that we have to live now, instead of saving it for retirement, which is the most common scam people fall for.
Even with limited time available and kids in tow, there is always a way to take some time off during the week to celebrate your accomplishments, reconnect with your loved ones and treat yourself to a glass of bubbly, even for no reason at all.
So next week, book yourself a spa treatment on Tuesday, take your husband out to a cinema on Wednesday or enjoy a Prosecco fueled quality time somewhere outdoors.
All those exciting things you are saving up for the weekend – why not do them after work?
For me, I have dedicated every Wednesday to Prosecco moments.
Sponsored by cheap Prosecco from Lidl and the glorious sunsets in Cyprus.
